For this internship, fluency in Spanish, which should be the candidate's main language, and knowledge of English and French are required. Translates into Spanish documents drafted in one or more of the other official languages of the United Nations (Arabic, Chinese, English, Russian and Spanish), for training and other purposes and subject to revision. Within delegated authority, the intern will assist with the following duties: Interns work five (5) days per week (40 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned. This internship is proposed for the period from 4 September to 27 October 2023. This internship is located in the Spanish Translation Section, Languages Service, Division of Conference Management, Department for General Assembly and Conference Management, Geneva and is under the supervision of the Chief of the Section or the internship supervisor, as appropriate. ![]()
